When Lindsey matched with Matt on an online dating site, she was skeptical. Meeting someone on an app? Crazy! And how could a guy playing guitar in the back of a pick-up truck be looking for anything serious? She ignored his first message attempt, thinking maybe this wasn't a good idea.

After seeing pictures of this angelic -his words not mine-single mom with her two beautiful kids, Matt decided to reach out once more. "I'm a single father of two as well, please just give me a sliver of your time." She realized, maybe they have more in common than it initially appeared! (A year later he wrote her a song called "Sliver of your time" *tears*)

From the moment they met, their souls felt connected. They had found their puzzle piece. They golfed (1st time for Lindsey) attended many, many (many) concerts, traveled, played and made music together, raised our blended family with 4 kids together, all the while never letting the fireworks from that first kiss fade.

On August 30, 2025, the anniversary of that first date in 2017, Matt proposed to spend the rest of their lives together. We thank you all for being part of our story and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone we love!
